This is apropos a Business Recorder editorial "India's misplaced blunder" carried by the newspaper on Sunday. The newspaper has presented a right prognosis of the Modi's mindset. According to it, "the facts so far on the ground unmistakably suggest this was a theatre - a place on the eve of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman's visit to the region. Not only did it tend to fortify India's stand on Kulbhushan Jadhav at The Haque, it was also aimed at belittling Pakistan's central role in Afghanistan peace process and improving BJP's electoral prospects."

I don't think any objective e and fair analysis of the situation could dispute the plausibility of the above argument. Narendra Modi must demonstrate wisdom and prudence in the larger interest of peace and stability in the region as early as possible.
